How much hair do you need?
Horse hair should be at least 1 pencil width in circumference and 15-20" in length. If a shorter amount, we will work with what we can and provide you options for alternate designs. The more you provide, the better our options are. Any remaining hair can be returned upon request.
Do I need to clean the hair.
No, I will wash and clean the hair before usage. Please use a rubber band or hair band to keep hair together. placed in a zip lock bag and bubble envelope for protection.
Will you return any unused hair?
If you would like any unused hair returned, I am happy to return it. Some clients are happy to donate any remaining hair to my stock for me to use for sample products. This is YOUR CHOICE.
How long does this take?
Keepsakes can take 1-3 weeks depending on the complexity of the braid.
Can you use other pet hair?
YES! Our Keepsake Lockets are perfect for other types of pet hair, dogs, cats, cows, goats, we have done many other type of pets. We honor all of our beloved companions.
